Window Restoration
Windows built before WWII are usually made of old growth wood, which is superior to modern like materials. They can look terrible and "on their last leg", but often are in really good shape underneath it all. Restoration of historic wood windows can include temporarily removing sash, stripping all paint, repairing or replacing damaged materials, rebedding and reglazing glass, and removal, with refurbishment, of stops and meeting rails. If you have windows that need attention, you can reach us at 336-675-0780 (Tom) or lyncostudios@gmail.com to discuss how we can help.
